About Government e‑Marketplace (GeM)

Hon'ble Prime Minister, based on the recommendations of the Group of Secretaries, decided to set up a dedicated e‑market for Government departments, PSUs, and organizations. The initiative transformed DGS&D into a digital e‑commerce portal for seamless procurement and sale of goods and services.
